Tomato Soup

Tomato Soup

Servings: 4
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 7 cups of vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp of Jamaican Red Pepper Sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 10 oz of cherry tomatoes/ plum tomatoes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • Dried oregano
  • Dried thyme
  • Dried basil
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • Serve with:
  • Grilled cheese sandwich - made with granary bread and cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Add all of the soup ingredients to soup pot and gently simmer for about 30 minutes
  2. Add into a blender and blend until smooth
  3. Serve with the grilled cheese sandwich
